Und schon geht's los, mit frischgewetzter Klinge sozusagen, und viel Motivation für ein neues Projekt. Letzte Woche hab ich Euch das neue Jahresprojekt von Quilter's Garden vorgestellt und jetzt ist der erste Block vom BOM 2016 online. Du kannst jederzeit einsteigen und mitmachen.
Benutzt habe ich für die bunten Stoffe die Serie FOR YOU und für den texturierten Hintergrund "Stamped Dots" aus der Serie PAPER
Übrigens habe ich einige Anfragen bzgl. der Materialien zum BOM bekommen. Wenn du den BOM mit den gleichen Stoffen wie gezeigt nähen möchtest, dann können wir dir zwei Zusammenstellungen anbieten:
1.) Den GROSSEN FARBKASTEN, der enthält 30 (!) verschiedene Druckstoffe bunt, und 8 Druckstoffe hell texturiert, jeweils 15 cm. Das ist das beste Paket, um den BOM originalgetreu nachzunähen und es kostet 99,-€
2.) Den KLEINEN FARBKASTEN, der enthält 15 verschiedene Druckstoffe bunt, und 5 Druckstoffe hell texturiert, jeweils 20 cm - er kostet 69,60€
Beide "Farbkästen"enthalten mehr Material als für die Blöcke nötig sind, man braucht eben eine gewisse Auswahl an verschiedenen Stoffen, und die kann man nicht schmaler vom Ballen schneiden. Man kann die Reste aber sehr schön nutzen, um die Rückseite noch zu gestalten und da Stoff einzusparen, oder um passende Accessoires wie Kissen oder ähnliches dazu zu nähen.
Beide Sets enthalten nicht den hellen Hintergrundstoff für die Ränder, dieser wird erst beim Abschluss, also im Dezember benötigt.
